I’m outta this bitch

DeShawn lay in his jail cell crying from frustration. He was furious because Tula wasn’t answering his collect calls no more. He was beginning to give up on clearing his name. He read his hip hop magazine thinking there was so much that he wanted to do with his life. For the first time he blamed himself for the situation that he was in. He was blessed that the judge only gave him a probation violation, but he was furious that La’Porsha allowed him to do time in jail without bringing DeShawn Jr. to come visit him. He didn’t want to cause her anymore problems so he made up his mind to play things cool.

“I know you ain’t crying over there again, Celly” Shamon asked. He had just come back from Church. He was trying to get right with the lord because knew that being locked up wasn’t where he wanted to spend his days. It seemed like his loved ones always forgot about him when he was down. It was time for him to start fresh.

“I ain’t got time for this shit today Bruh Bruh” DeShawn responded with a sniffle. He had his back turned and didn’t want to let Bruh Bruh see him cry. He was having a nervous breakdown and he couldn’t control it.

DeShawn quickly wiped his eyes with his sleeve. He sat up on the bed with his hands in his lap after slamming the magazine down on the side of him. He took a deep breath and released it slowly. He had been cellmates with Bruh Bruh for seven months, so he knew that Bruh Bruh didn’t mean any harm when he talked sarcastically, but he didn’t have time for the humorous remarks. He had become good friends with Bruh Bruh in the past few months, so he wasn’t going to flash on him, but he was sick and tired of him making jokes when the situation was serious. He needed time alone to think of how he was going to clear his name.

“Why you tripping on me?” Bruh Bruh was giggling loudly. He loved to get under DeShawn’s skin. “You need to be tripping on your bitches not me, playa.”

“Can you be serious for once in your life? This ain’t about no bitch. It’s about that bitch, La’Porsha, taking my son away from me and letting the next nigga raise him.”

Bruh Bruh knew how it felt to be away from family because his family abandoned him every time he went to jail. He knew that it was time to get serious about the conversation.

“Damn, I know you miss your son. Well if that means anything to you I’m getting released in a day or so and I will go over to your baby mama house and check on them for you. Just give me the address.”

“Why do you keep saying you’re getting released? You keep fucking up in here, so it look like I’m going to be getting released before you. I think you like being in here.
